Zach LaVine will undergo surgery on his left knee

With the season over and the balance of it done, Zach LaVine will begin his vacation going through the operating room. The Chicago Bulls shooting guard will undergo surgery on the injury that he has been dragging on his left knee since last January and hopes to recover before the start of next season. Said ailment has nothing to do with his torn ligaments suffered in the same knee in 2017.

This won’t be the only distraction LaVine has to deal with this summer, as he’ll soon be an unrestricted free agent. Since last year, most rumors and statements have pointed to his continuing with the Bulls, but in recent weeks the winds have changed. Recently the player said he wanted to face the market with an open mind and recently a rumor has appeared that places him in the Portland Trail Blazers. LaVine is eligible to sign a five-year, $212 million maximum contract with Chicago, which has Bird rights to him. The figure would be reduced to 157 million if it changes the air.
