Brody Koerner, one of the Yankees’ pitchers in the 2021 season in MLB, declared himself a free agent for the 2022 campaign.
The right-hander had a brief stint with the Bronx Mules in the last regular round. He worked three innings in two games with a 3.00 ERA while allowing one earned run and one strikeout.
It is not ruled out that Koerner re-signs with the New York franchise.
The minor league campaign was good for Koerner, too. In Triple A he had a 3.39 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 64 strikeouts in 77 innings (26 relays and 15 starts).
