The defensive aspect takes on an important value during postseason games in the MLB. Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames and first baseman Rowdy Tellez combined for a fantastic play that ended a threat from the Atlanta Braves.
Adames was able to pick up a short hit in the infield and then retire Venezuelan Braves Wilson Contreras in the first game. Tellez played a pivotal role on the spot by picking up the dispatch of his teammate, which ended the seventh inning.
Tellez also helped offense, hitting a two-run home run in the fifth inning, which marked his second full-return hit of the postseason.
