There was a tense moment during Tuesday’s game between the New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays, when pitcher Yimi Garcia hit Josh Donaldson with a dangerous pitch.
In the lower part of the sixth inning, after a home run by Giancarlo Stanton that tied the score, the Dominican reliever was ejected by the umpire after endangering the physique of the veteran of the Bronx team.
Donaldson did not react aggressively to the action, but several players from the Bronx team were alarmed at the possibility of a lawsuit.
