While some young prospects are breaking into the MLB with a bang, several major league offensive departments are currently led by players 30 and older.
The age range does not include stars like Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts, Manny Machado, Xander Bogaerts or Bryce Harper. These are the veterans who present themselves as the most fearsome hitters of the moment.

The New York Yankees slugger received some boos in the first weeks of the championship, for his low production and the rejection of the extension proposal made by management, but that was left behind for the team’s fans. Right now Judge is the leader in home runs in the American League with 12 and runs scored with 27 and is third in RBIs with 27. He bats for averages of .305 / .376 / .661 and just celebrated his 30th birthday .
