Tom Brady will play in Week 6 despite his hand discomfort

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady will play in Week 6 of the season despite hand discomfort, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported.

The veteran had to undergo an ice treatment on an injured thumb during the Week 5 game, but that won’t stop him from facing the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night.

Brady comes from a brutal game against the Miami Dolphins, a duel in which he had 411 passing yards and 5 touchdowns, in what was a 45-17 victory for his team, which earned him the Offensive Player of the Week in the NFC.
