The Knicks want to sign a star

The step back taken by the New York Knicks during this season will push the offices to carry out important changes during the summer period. A summer in which they will go all out in order to recover lost ground in the Eastern Conference.

As reported by The Athletic journalists, John Hollinger and Fred Katz, the Knicks will try to incorporate a player of star caliber in the coming months. However, no candidate has been leaked, although this information suggests the city of Salt Lake City as a potential market driver. And let’s remember that the name of Donovan Mitchell has been related to the New York franchise.

To incorporate the desired star, the Knicks would be willing to put together a package made up of some of the following assets: Evan Fournier, Derrick Rose, Alec Burks, Nerlens Noel, Kemba Walker, some of their young promises and draft picks. In other words, practically the entire workforce would be in the market.

In any case, the city of New York is a nest of rumors and it is very possible that numerous players will be suggested as potential targets of the franchise in the near future. So far, the leaked names include Donovan Mitchell himself, Zion Williamson, Russell Westbrook, Jalen Brunson, Mike Conley and Tyus Jones.
