The 31-year-old Belgian striker signed a contract until 2024 with the Washington team
The agreement includes an option to renew for an additional season
The D.C. United of the English technician Wayne Rooney announced this Friday the signing of the Belgian striker Christian Bentekeof Crystal Palace and former of Liverpoolwith ‘status’ of franchise player.
Benteke, 31, signed a contract until 2024, with an option for the 2025 season, the Washington team said in a statement. The Belgian striker scored 18 goals with his country’s senior team, in which he has played since 2010 and in which his last match dates back to March 29 against Burkina Faso.
