Ballots for the 2022 Hall of Fame continue to be revealed and with 40% of ballots counted, David Ortiz, Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds would enter, according to ESPN.
However, the election of these 3 MLB figures must be confirmed with the rest of the ballots that have yet to be counted.
In the case of Bonds and Clemens, the entry into the place of the best in history in the Major Leagues would occur in the final year of their appearance on the ballot.
Journalist Ryan Thibodeauz’s tally shows that with 158 ballots, all 3 have a good chance at a Hall of Fame plaque.
Ortiz has 83.5% of the vote, Bonds with 79.1% and Clemens with 77.8%.
