NBA Draft List 2022: the order of the 58 elections

The NBA Draft is upon us. Three years later, the Draft is held again on its usual dates, just as summer begins. This Thursday, June 23, 2022, is the big day in which the 30 franchises share the 58 elections (this year it will not be 60, you can find an explanation about it at the bottom of this page) of young players called to join the league. and then you can find the NBA Draft 2022 election list.

Why do we say that three years later the Draft returns to its usual dates? The reason is that due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 NBA Draft was held in November of that year and the 2021 Draft in July of the same. We are finally back to normal. In almost all.

  • Why are there 58 choices in the 2022 Draft and not 60?

This is the first time in many years that there will not be 60 picks, but 58. Chicago and Miami were penalized in their two 2022 second-round picks because of their poor practices when negotiating with free agents in the past transfer market. . In the case of the Bulls it was due to the acquisition of Lonzo Ball and in the case of Miami by Kyle Lowry.
