The Colombian Luis Díaz was chosen this Saturday MVP of the FA Cup final, in which Liverpool was proclaimed champion against Chelsea in the penalty shootout (5-6 after a 0-0). Kostas Tsimikas took the final penalty after Mason Mount’s miss.

Luis Díaz, arrived at Liverpool in this winter market from Porto, was one of the great dangers of the ‘reds’ for the defense of Chelsea. The Colombian striker was relieved by Roberto Firmino in the 98th minute.

Díaz enjoyed several scoring chances, including a whiplash to the post in the last minutes of the match. This is the second title in the Colombian’s career as a ‘red’ player, after winning the League Cup in February, also against Chelsea and also on penalties.
