Harrell and Caldwell-Pope had to be separated at halftime against OKC

As revealed by the portal The Athletic, Montrezl Harrell and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope were involved in a physical altercation for which they had to be separated. The information indicates that the discussion was born from a reproach from the pivot to his teammate for not passing the ball to him in a play prior to the end of the first part of yesterday’s game against Oklahoma City Thunder. This led to a heated verbal exchange that ended in a hitch between the two. luckily, his companions were there to prevent things from getting worse.

Once in the locker room there was no danger of resuming the fight due to the presence of several members of the stadium security. It is unknown if the Wizards will take action on the matter. Both played minutes, even coinciding on the court, in the second part of a match that they ended up winning. This is the second consecutive year that Caldwell-Pope and Harrell share a dressing room after meeting last season with the Lakers and being part of Russell Westbrook’s transfer to the Los Angeles franchise.
