Arodys Vizcaíno signed a minor league deal with the Kansas City Royals

Dominican reliever Arodys Vizcaíno has secured an agreement with the Kansas City Royals as a minor league contract. The right-hander was in free agency and was seeking a contract to continue in organized baseball in 2022.

Recognized for the speed of his fastball, which has been clocked at more than 100 miles per hour, Vizcaíno has not pitched in the MLB since 2019, the year in which he played just 4 games with the Atlanta Braves, a team in which he left 1-0 mark with a 2.25 ERA.

Vizcaíno has suffered several injuries during his career, which have prevented him from having greater continuity in the best baseball in the world. Now you will have another opportunity to return to the maximum level.
