The Phoenix Suns are coming off getting the most important victory of the season against the Golden State Warriors. But as if that were not enough to achieve their seventeenth consecutive victory, equal the franchise record and do it against the team that had the best balance in the league, they also did it without Devin Booker. Or at least that’s how it was from the middle of the second quarter, when the guard put his hand to the back of his right thigh after a penetration.
Once the victory was celebrated, it was time to test the player although everything pointed to the muscle strain that they have ended up being diagnosed with. This injury is not serious, but it will keep Booker off the courts during the next games. Of course, the deadlines are uncertain because it is an easily relapsing ailment that can give more than one headache if it does not heal well. The Suns will evaluate the player day by day until they decide that he is ready to return.
The team is about to break the franchise record for consecutive victories and, who knows, maybe be able to storm the absolute of 33 that the Lakers scored in 1972. But with the ring in mind, taking care of the health of one of its stars is peek priority.
