In addition to Nazuna, Kou, and Kou’s childhood friend Akira Asai (Yumiri Hanamori), the four vampires whose cast was announced this time will also appear in the key visuals. In the mysteriously shining street of the night, you can see how you hang out in your own way.
Below are the enthusiasm comments from the cast and the main staff, including director Tomoyuki Itamura.
[Eri Kitamura (role of Nico Hirata)]
Q1. Please tell us your impression of this work. I’m Eri Kitamura, who will play the role of Nico. I read this work because of the audition story. In «The story of love and youth sent to Mr. Fukashi, who is not satisfied with today’s day», the unique tempo of conversation and the stylish comical depiction will tickle your heart! After all, the exquisite sense of distance between Nazuna and Kou makes me feel uncomfortable and dying, and my emotions get busy (laughs). And all the girls drawn by the teacher are so cute with a mysterious Toro face ♪
Q2. Please tell us your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role. As you all know, Nico is a reliable sister! She is an adult woman who feels like she is. Her no-frills girlfriend has something in common with her personal part, and I thought she was a great match, so she was able to concentrate on her play without hesitation! She did dubbing the other day, and it was a lot of fun to play, and I’m excited to see what kind of facial expressions she will have in the video !! Don’t be ashamed to receive her offer, I would like to start recording!
[Shizuka Ito (role of Honda Turnip)]
Q1. Please tell us your impression of this work. A system to become a vampire? I mean, that’s interesting. No way, the human being who became a vampire had a choice … I am excited as a reader while being excited about what happens to Kou and Nazuna.
Q2. Please tell us your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role. Among my fellow vampires, I felt that my sister was very mysterious. Among the characters that stand out from each other, I think it would be great if I could perform in such an atmosphere that it seems to be calm but has some particular implications.
[Naomi Ohzora (role of Midori Koshige)]
Q1. Please tell us your impression of this work. It seemed that I was aware that I had taken the everyday things that are usually taken for granted as they were. Kou faces the changes and questions that occur in his heart, one by one. What is love while watching him? What is freedom, including that? What is friendship? Is it correct? It seems to be an opportunity to think about various things … I felt comfortable even with a refreshing feeling that was a little far from the image of «night».
Q2. Please tell us your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role. beautiful girl? Midori targets inexperienced men among all the vampires who are popular and have the maximum power. I think it’s attractive to have a glimpse of the cute part and the cool part when you are making full use of the storytelling technique for «Mote». Will you see that aspect of her in future recordings? I am also looking forward to!
[Azumi Waki (role of Hatsuka 蘿蔔)]
Q1. Please tell us your impression of this work. I often read romance comics, but the setting of falling in love with a vampire because I want to be a vampire was very interesting, and I was immediately drawn into this world. Above all, I think all the vampires that appear are unique and attractive! I often have days when I can’t sleep at all, so I envy the wonderful encounters where I can enjoy the night like Kou-kun (laughs).
Q2. Please tell us your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role. Hatsuka is very calm and has a place to look closely and analyze. She has a slender style and a beautiful face, so I think she’s very popular with both men and women (laughs). I’m a child who doesn’t flirt so much, so basically I’m talking with the same tension, but I tried to play such a play that naturally attracted me to Hatsuka.
[Tomoyuki Itamura (Director)]Q1. Could you tell us what you are conscious of and what you are trying to do when making this work into a TV animation? I try to draw the night attractively so that I can be excited about it. I’m glad that I can feel the excitement of hiding in my parents and secretly appearing in the night city.
Q2. Could you tell us what you talked to with Mr. Kotoyama, who works on the original work? I had the opportunity to hear about Kotoyama-sensei’s favorite works and favorite music. I also found out that he was a long-time and serious fan of «Creepy Nuts», and I felt that he was full of love.
Q3. Please give a message to the fans who are looking forward to the broadcast. I decided to vividly draw the world view of the solid manga drawn by Mr. Kotoyama in the animation. Please enjoy «Call of the Night» with the pictures and sounds unique to anime.
[Tetsuya Miyanishi (Chief Director)]Q1. Could you tell us what you are conscious of and keep in mind when making this work into a TV animation? What I always keep in mind is «to draw the night in a fun way» and «to entertain the characters who spend the night while interweaving fetishes». By emphasizing the beauty and enjoyment of the night, I try to draw something like «the depth of the night» that is dangerous and scary. At the bottom of the various characters drawn by Mr. Kotoyama, there is a clever blue-smelling real intention in a good sense, «What is love, what is a person, what is fun» that everyone can sympathize with. I feel like it’s hidden, so I’m careful not to blur the real part.
Q2. Could you tell us what you talked to with Mr. Kotoyama, who works on the original work? The teacher can’t say anything about people, but there are places where they were shy to each other (laughs), so anyway, when I first met him, I talked about the game from the original Nazuna’s game-loving part for the rest of my life. I remember expanding it so hard. While listening to the conversation between the teacher and the director sideways, I felt a great deal of thought about the work and respect for hip-hop, including «Creepy Nuts,» which is also the title of the work.
Q3. Please give a message to the fans who are looking forward to the broadcast. In contrast to the flashy colors used in the anime, this work is not a big spectacle that involves the world, but a work that depicts the extraordinary behind the «everyday» centered on Ko and Nazuna. .. It would be great if you could relax your shoulders and look forward to the night (including the broadcast time) while you were watching it.
[Haruka Sagawa (character design)]Q1. Could you tell us what you are conscious of and what you are trying to do when making this work into a TV animation? It’s unique among the works I’ve been involved in so far, and I want to draw it from the time I talk to you! I couldn’t stop feeling. The design of the original is very attractive, so I pondered how much the atmosphere could be incorporated into the animation. I tried to carefully give each character’s physique and facial expressions of the vampires, so I hope that you can feel «Call of the Night» more realistically.
Q2. Could you tell us what you talked to with Mr. Kotoyama, who works on the original work? I think that Nazuna and Kou who move and talk are finished as a clearer and more intense animation. While remembering the special feeling of the night that I felt when I was a teenager, I hope that both original fans and those who watch this work from the animation will be able to get away from reality for a while and enjoy the night world together.
