This tiktoker accused the singer of using her choreography and not giving her the corresponding credits.
The success of Shakira’s song in collaboration with BZRP is undeniable. It is the first Latin song to achieve 100 million views on Youtube in less than three days, maintain number one among the most listened to songs on Spotify worldwide for more than a week and become social media.
Everyone has started to sing it, some because of the meme and others because they consider it a hymn. People have created merchandise with the iconic lines of the song and several brands took advantage of the boom to advertise.
Any way you look at it, it’s a resounding success.
However, the controversy and criticism on the subject and Shakira are the order of the day. On this occasion, it was not the lyrics that caused debate among users, but rather the choreography of the dance trend that circulates on Tik Tok.
Previously, the Colombian had been accused of being inspired and even copying a part of the Tiktoker Briella song. However, thousands of users came out in defense of Shakira, explaining how what she claimed that she had copied was a commonly used resource in music. Despite the fact that Shakira’s «innocence» was proven, she has once again been involved in another case of plagiarism, again from a Tiktoker.
On this occasion, it is because of the dance that has become a trend on the platform that uses the song with BZRP.

Shakira has been delighted with the creativity of her fans to create content with her song. In this case, she uploaded a video of herself, along with three other girls, dancing to her latest hit. In the credits, she thanks the user @belledose for the steps and it didn’t take long for the post to be filled with likes and everywhere.
However, a girl with the username @Voonie came out to say that the Colombian was giving the wrong credits, since the choreography she was using was hers and not @belledose’s.

“Shakira does my trend but gives the credits to other people. I’m dying of illusion and at the same time I’m sorry, «she said.
Fans were quick to defend Shakira, arguing that the reason she was giving credit to someone else was because she saw that video first, not necessarily with bad intent.
Luckily, the same girls on @belledose’s account credit @Voonie in their video.

So far, Shakira has not come out to clarify anything in relation to this new accusation. She is simply enjoying her moment, joining her fans with the trend of her song.
